Deborah Luckett

DeBorah Luckett is a Civil Engineering Major from Jackson, Ms. Although her career path does not involve any factors of media production or mass communication, her interest in learning and being as versatile as possible led her on the road of film-hood. She first got exposed to this life, after being selected for a leading lady role in a short film about contracting HIV/AIDS. Even though this was a nice experience for her, she decided that being in front of the camera was not for her. Instead, she found fascination in actually dressing the actors. Therefore, she is now the primary costume manager for Students of Cinema. If you see an outfit that the actors may be wearing that you really like, DeBorah probably put it together.

Charity Greenfield is a computer engineering major from Jackson, MS attending Jackson State University and joined Students of Cinema because she believed that it would be a wonderful experience and it truly has been. she loves to experience and learn about things that are foreign to me and SOC has granted me the opportunity to open up to a new field of interest- film. Through this organization, she is able to work hands-on with set design while gaining an up close experience with the various areas of work required to create a successful production. she sayss that SOC is an outstanding organization for young, ambitious filmmakers as well as for anyone interested in learning about the world of filmmaking/media production and she is proud to be able to say that she is apart of it.
