About Us
Students of Cinema is a newly found organization at Jackson State University specializing in filmmaking. The founders are Dashawna Wright, Orionna Brumfield and Jaleesa D. Harris. They began their journey with a two-week master film class with Actor/ Director Mr. Tim Reid. These three ladies enjoyed it so much they decided to continue with this organization "SOC". Since they were limited with opportunities to express themselves, they wanted to bring their knowledge and skills to other students.
